An e-book, also known as an electronic book or digital book, is as "an electronic version of a printed book."

Burke Library is adding new ebooks to its collection every day.
You can read ebooks from our collections on just about any electronic device, including:

tablets
e-readers
smartphones
Downloading Ebooks on Library Computers
ATTENTION:
On a Library Computer:
Some of our ebooks can be viewed ONLY on a laptop or a desktop computer and may not be downloaded into a separate reader.
Some of our e-books can be downloaded ONLY to a laptop, but no other device (like an e-reader, tablet, or smartphone).
- Those books have DRM (Digital Rights Management) software, which is used by some publishers to prevent unauthorized reproduction of their books.
