A guide to ebooks at Spring Hill College's Burke Library

Your eBrary Bookshelf Account

Allows you to:

  • Read and store e-books you are interested in, from any computer online.
  • Add and save highlights and annotations you have made in an e-book.
  • Create and use bookshelf folders.
  • E-mail a folder. Only this folder will be available to others. The rest of your bookshelf is private.

How to add an e-book to your Bookshelf

Step 1.

Sign in to to your personal e-reader account through EZ Proxy.  

Step 2.

Select an Option

 

Option 1.   An e-book will be automatically added to your bookshelf if you highlight text or add a note in the book.

    

Option 2:   Add an e-book from your search results:

Step 3.

Once in your Bookshelf, you can use the features of this workspace. An e-book is automatically added to the Unclassified Documents & Annotations folder. You may create your own folderin order to better manage your e-book collection.
